[ start up
tcharts today screen starts up with no settings,
you will need to set a wallpaper and load some
plugins to make it useful. pressing up on the
directional pad of your be-300 will reveal a menu
where you can set most settings |

[ wallpaper
to set a wallpaper bring up the menu and select
the "wallpaper" item |
 |
| this will let you browse for a
background image. you can select a bitmap, jpeg
or gif image file. press "ok" once you
have selected a wallpaper |

| once you've pressed "ok",
the wallpaper image will be loaded |
 |
[ plugins
to load a plugin reveal the menu and tap the
"plugins" item |
 |
| this will reveal a sub-menu with
various plugin related items. select the
"load plugin" item |
 |
| browse to whatever folder you have
stored your plugins in, select one and press
"ok". i keep my plugins in the same
folder as the today application (this folder is
the default path that is selected when you load a
plugin) |

| the plugin will be loaded onto the
today screen after you press "ok" |
 |
| repeat this for any other plugins
you wish to load |
 |
[ plugin options
most plugins have various settings that can be
user defined. to access the plugin settings page
bring up the main menu and select the "set
plugins options" item from the plugins
sub-menu |

| this will reveal another menu
listing all of the plugins loaded. select the
plugin item you wish to setup or dismiss the menu
by selecting "cancel" |
 |
| if a plugin has any options
available (some dont) a dialog showing the
available settings will be displayed. set any
options you wish and then dismiss by either
pressing "ok" button on the dialog (if
one is available) or by using an pocket pc
"ok" button equivalent (like on beebar
or dics okapp or my own ok app) |

| once dismissed the plugin should
display with the new settings |

[ manage plugins
plugins can be re-ordered and deleted using the
"manage options" item on the plugins
sub-menu |

| a dialog showing all of the loaded
plugins will be displayed |
 |
| re-order any plugins by selecting a
plugin and pressing "up" or
"down". plugins can be removed from the
today screen by selecting the desired one and
pressing "delete" |
 |
| once dismissed the plugins will be
reloaded in the new order and any removed one
wont appear |
 |
[ text color
the text color of most plugins can be set
automatically from the today screen. select the
"text color" item from the menu |
 |
| this will reveal a color picker
dialog enabling you to select a color of your
choice |
 |
| dismiss the color picker dialog by
pressing "ok" and the plugins should
refresh with the newly selected color |
 |
[ setup
the "setup" option on the menu reveals
a dilaog where you can set the double tap action
for the tchart plugins. aim these at the vaious
applications you require. these settings will be
migrated into the plugins themselves in the
future |

refresh
to refresh the plugins just select the
"refresh" item on the menu. this will
refresh all of the plugins. an automatic refresh
occurs ever two seconds |

reload
this item on the menu reloads all of the plugins.
it will purge all of the itema and then reload
them from scratch |

to view the boring about dialog select the
"about" item from the menu |
