this freeware application turns your gps and pocket pc into an easy to read speedometer for the car, boat, bike or whatever!

[ features
the application is small in size so there are no fancy features. the speed readout can be set to knots, kilometers or miles per hour. the text and background colours can be changed to suit day or night time applications.

[ system requirements
gps speedo is compiled for xscale/arm, mips and sh3 processors. it runs on pocket pc 2000,2002, 2003, 2003SE and window mobile 5. the mips version will also run on the casio be300 provided aygshell.dll is installed (see www.be300.org for more information on how to obtain the dll).

[ installation
gps speedo is distributed in a zip file. the zip file contains one executable file which should be copied across to your device using active sync. to start the application simply click on the executable on your devce or make a shortcut to the executble.

[ license agreement
gps speedo is distributed as unsupported freeware, this means;

1. all copyrights to gps speedo are exclusively owned by the author - trevor hart.
2. the application is not supported and updates may not be made available.
3. gps speedo may be freely distributed provided the distribution package is not modified in any way.
4. due to the nature of gps navigation and the possibility that the information may contain errors, the author does not guarantee the accuracy or validity of the information provided by gps speedo. use the information provided by gps speedo at your own risk and under no circumstances should gps speedo be relied upon for safety of life applications. the author specifically disclaims any and all liability, including without limitation, consequential and incidental damages, that may arise in anyway from the use of or reliance on gps speedo.
5. gps speedo is distributed "as is". no warranty of any kind is expressed or implied. you use at your own risk. neither the author nor the agents of the author will be liable for data loss, damages, loss of profits or any other kind of loss while using or misusing this software.
6. gps speedo is not a substitute for responsible driving. please drive carefully and abide by your countries speed limit laws. neither the author nor the agents of the author will be liable if you break the law while using this software.
